I had no problem using my airport to share internet, but I can't get this UBS adapter to do it. I then selected 'To computers using: (I selected the USB wireless adapter)' and then made sure the green check was selected for internet sharing. I went to internet sharing and selected 'share internet from Ethernet'.

But what I really want to use it for is to share internet and broadcast a signal so that I can pick it up with other devices or computers. I was not able to use the included disk for it, so I had to go down load the drivers for it at Driver: RTL8187L I had no problem using is to receive a wireless signal and connect to the internet. I just bought a GSKY 802.11g high power wireless USB adapter model GS-27USB.

I'm running OS X 10.6.4 on my new macbook pro.
